The architecture of the villa serves as a reflection of its owners—their habits, preferences, and certain dreams. These qualities are expressed through many of the architect’s decisions: in the layout, the interiors, the exterior appearance, the functionality of the grounds, the reflecting pool in front of the main façade, and many other details. By slightly elevating the main building above the surrounding terrain and shaping the approach road as a gently opening semicircle around the reflecting pool, we gave the single-storey villa a stronger presence within the overall composition. From the house, the representative garden opens outward like a pair of welcoming arms, embracing friends and invited guests.
